§ 71-1943. Enforcement of section 17-1743.\n Any person who fails to so notify the department of such release,\ndischarge or spill into the waters of the state as described in section\n17-1743 of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be fined not more than\nthree thousand seven hundred fifty dollars or imprisoned for not more\nthan one year, or both.\n
