§ 8801. Definitions. As used in this article, the following term shall\nhave the following meaning:\n "Applied behavior analysis" or "ABA" means the design, implementation,\nand evaluation of environmental modifications, using behavioral stimuli\nand consequences, to produce socially significant improvement in human\nbehavior, including the use of direct observation, measurement, and\nfunctional analysis of the relationship between environment and\nbehavior.\n
