Televised Proceedings; Broadcast

Section 1. Televised Proceedings; Broadcast. Any televised\nproceedings of sessions of the New York State Assembly shall be made\navailable for statewide television broadcast, pursuant to the following:\n a. All televised proceedings of the Assembly session shall be\nunedited, except that only accredited news organizations, educational\ninstitutions, and public affairs documentary programs may utilize any\nportion of the Assembly television feed.\n b. No portion of the televised proceedings (either live or taped)\nauthorized pursuant to this section may be utilized for:\n (1) campaign or political purposes or to promote or oppose a ballot\nissue or the candidacy of any person for any elective office; or\n (2) any paid commercial advertisements.\n
