Staffing

§ 8. Staffing. All Senators shall receive the same base allocation of\nfunds for staffing their offices. Additional funding for\nresponsibilities associated with committees and leadership positions\nshall be allocated within amounts available for committee and leadership\nstaff; such amounts shall include, at a minimum, a budget sufficient to\nappoint a staff member with expertise in the committee's subject matter.\nThe funding for the Democratic conference central staff shall not be\nless than thirty percent of the funds allocated for all central staff on\na per member basis.\n
