§ 6. Calendar. a. The matters upon the Senate Calendar shall be\narranged and acted upon in the following order:\n (1) Resolutions.\n (2) Bills on order of first report.\n (3) Bills on order of second report.\n (4) Bills on order of special report.\n (5) Bills starred after report.\n (6) Bills on third reading calendar from special report.\n (7) Bills on third reading.\n (8) Bills starred on third reading.\n (9) Resolution to amend the Senate Rules.\n (10) Motions for chamber consideration.\n b. Bills laid aside by the Temporary President shall continue to\nretain their place in their regular order of business until called for\ndebate by the Temporary President.\n c. Except for bills reported from a standing committee and placed on\nthat part of the calendar designated as "order of special report," bills\nreported from a standing committee shall be placed on the first report\ncalendar and, unless starred, shall be automatically advanced to the\nsecond report part of the calendar after one calendar legislative day.\nBills on second report shall, unless starred, be advanced to the order\nof third reading after one calendar legislative day. No debate shall be\nallowed on the advancement of bills on the order of first or second\nreport or special report. The order of special report shall be marked\nwith an asterisk to indicate that such bills will be subject to debate\non the next calendar legislative day. In the event that such bills are\nnot debated on such day, they shall be removed from the order of special\nreport and placed on that part of the calendar designated "bills on\norder of first report".\n
