§ 7. Starred bills. a. A bill appearing on the calendar may be\n"starred" only by or on behalf of the introducer, whereupon all further\naction on such bill shall be suspended, although it retains its place on\nthe Calendar.\n b. Other than for the purpose of amendment or recommittal, no action\nmay be taken on a bill from which a star has been removed until one day\nafter such removal.\n
