N.D.C.C. § 23-06.5-08

Subject to any limitations set forth in the health care directive by the principal, an agent whose authority is in effect may for the purpose of making health care decisions: 1. Request, review, and receive any information, oral or written, regarding the principal's physical or mental health, including medical and hospital records; 2. Execute any releases or other documents which may be required in order to obtain such medical information; and 3. Consent to the disclosure of such medical information.
