Revocation of nonresident license

Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection 13 of section 26.1-26-42, any nonresident license issued pursuant to this chapter may be suspended or revoked without notice and hearing to the licensee and without proceeding in conformity with chapter 28-32, upon evidence the resident license of the North Dakota nonresident licensee has been revoked or suspended or sixty days after the commissioner receives notification that the producer's license is past the renewal deadline in the producer's resident home state. This evidence may be in the form of a certified copy or by electronic mail, or through the insurance producer database maintained by the national association of insurance producers, its affiliates, or subsidiaries.

26.1-26-43. License suspension, revocation, or refusal - Business entity - Additional ground. The license of a business entity may be suspended, revoked, or refused if the commissioner finds, after hearing, that an individual licensee's violation was known or should have been known by one or more of the partners, officers, or managers acting on behalf of the business entity and the violation was not reported to the commissioner nor corrective action taken in relation to the violation.
