To be eligible to be registered by the board as a veterinary dispensing technician, an individual must meet one of the following requirements: 1. Successful completion of an academic program approved by the state board of pharmacy; 2. Successful completion of a certification program approved by the state board of pharmacy; or
3. Be licensed as a veterinary technician by the state board of veterinary medical examiners.
