N.D.C.C. § 54-51-02

For the purposes of this chapter the following words and phrases have the meanings ascribed to them in this chapter: 1. "Receiving agency" means any department or agency of the federal government or a state government which receives an employee of another government under this chapter. 2. "Sending agency" means any department or agency of the federal government or a state government which sends any employee thereof to another government agency under this chapter.
