All official bonds provided for in this chapter shall be in the form prescribed by law for official bonds of county officers except that the obligee named in such bond shall be the irrigation district.
61-06-08. Officers or employees bonded in state bonding fund - Assessment payment. Every elective or appointive officer or employee of whom a bond is required under the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed to be bonded in the state bonding fund upon the giving of notice of such election or appointment by the secretary of the district to the administrator of the fund. Upon notification of the amount of the assessment, the secretary of the district shall remit the payment.
