Effect of new trial on plaintiff’s possession. If the plaintiff has taken possession of the property before the judgment is set aside and a new trial granted as provided in ORS 105.055 (2), the possession is not thereby affected in any way. If judgment is given for the defendant in the new trial, the defendant is entitled to restitution by execution in the same manner as if the defendant were plaintiff
