Fees for conducting criminal history record checks. (1) The Department of State Police may adopt a fee schedule for criminal history record checks required under ORS 166.412 and collect a fee for each criminal history record check requested. The fee schedule shall be calculated to recover the cost of performing criminal history record checks required under ORS 166.412, but may not exceed $10 per record check

(2) Fees collected under this section shall be paid into the State Treasury and deposited in the General Fund to the credit of the State Police Account. [1995 c.729 §2]
