Appointing authority for Legislative Fiscal Officer; selection of officer. (1) As used in this section, ORS 173.420 and 173.450, “appointing authority” means the Joint Committee on Ways and Means during a session of the Legislative Assembly and the Emergency Board during the interim between sessions of the Legislative Assembly
