Right of local government to bid at execution sale. The local government may bid at the sale on execution of the property involved in the foreclosure suit any amount not exceeding the sum found by the judgment of the court to be due upon the local government’s lien, together with interest, costs, penalties and attorney fees, and it may credit the amount of its bid upon the execution.
