Demolition contracts to require material salvage; lawn and landscape maintenance contracts to require composting or mulching. (1) Every public improvement contract for demolition shall contain a condition requiring the contractor to salvage or recycle construction and demolition debris, if feasible and cost-effective

(2) Every public improvement contract for lawn and landscape maintenance shall contain a condition requiring the contractor to compost or mulch yard waste material at an approved site, if feasible and cost-effective. [2003 c.794 §139]
