County audits include justice courts and law enforcement agencies and officers. The audits of counties required under ORS 297.425 shall include justice courts, their officers and employees, district attorneys and their employees, sheriffs, constables and all other officers and officials elected by the residents of a county or appointed by an official elected by the residents of a county and transacting public business.
