Department may provide foster care for children surrendered or committed to department. The Department of Human Services may, in its discretion, provide foster care and other services for any child who has been surrendered under ORS 418.270, as authorized by ORS 418.285, to the department for adoption or has been permanently committed to the department by order of court.
