Legislative findings. (1) The Legislative Assembly finds and declares that chlorofluorocarbons and halons are being unnecessarily released into the atmosphere, destroying the Earth’s protective ozone layer and causing damage to all life

(2) It is therefore declared to be the policy of the State of Oregon to:

(a) Reduce the use of these compounds;

(b) Recycle these compounds in use; and

(c) Encourage the substitution of less dangerous substances. [Formerly 468.614]
