Addition of flavoring to drug; conditions. The addition of flavoring to a drug intended for dispensation may not be considered compounding if the flavoring

(1) Is inert, nonallergenic and has no effect other than imparting a flavor to the drug or modifying the flavor of the drug; and

(2) Does not constitute more than five percent of the total volume of the drug. [2024 c.73 §2]
