Knowingly submitting false information about transfer of interest in vehicle; penalty. (1) A person commits the offense of knowingly submitting false information about transfer of a vehicle if the person submits a notice of transfer of an interest in a vehicle as described in ORS 803.112 to the Department of Transportation and the person knows that some or all of the information contained in the notice is false
