Registration period for Oregon National Guard member or military reservist. (1) Notwithstanding ORS 803.400 and 803.415, the registration of a vehicle registered in the name of a person who is a member of the Oregon National Guard or a military reservist ordered on active duty and deployed to a location outside the United States that expires while the person is on active duty shall remain valid for 90 days following the termination of active duty

(2) The court shall dismiss the charge of failure to renew vehicle registration under ORS 803.455 if, when charged, a member of the Oregon National Guard or a military reservist had a valid registration for the vehicle pursuant to subsection (1) of this section. [2005 c.257 §3]
