Department as agent for counties

Section effective January 1, 2027. See, also, section 57-3-700 effective until January 1, 2027. With the approval of the Secretary of Transportation, the county officials may designate the department, acting through its agents and employees, as agents of the county in securing necessary rights of way and other lands.
