Possession and transportation of deer or deer meat taken in violation of chapter; assisting in violations

(1) Whoever—(1) possesses, transports, purchases, deer or deer meat which was not taken in accordance with the provisions of this chapter; or(2) assists in any way in the hunting or capturing of deer in violation of any provision of this chapter—shall be fined not more than $100 or imprisoned not more than 60 days, or both.
