14 V.I.C. § 1747

(1) Whoever—(1) uses force or violence in entering upon or detaining any lands or other property, public or private; or(2) enters another's domicile without the consent of the tenant—shall, except in the cases and in the manner prescribed by law, be fined not more than $200 or imprisoned not more than 1 year, or both.
