14 V.I.C. § 706

(1) Whoever, with intent to harass or alarm another person—(1) communicates with a person, anonymously or otherwise, by telephone, or by telegraph, mail or any other form of written communication, in a manner likely to harass or alarm; or(2) makes a telephone call, whether or not a conversation ensues, with no purpose of legitimate communication, is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than $500 or imprisoned for not more than 1 year, or both.

(2) makes a telephone call, whether or not a conversation ensues, with no purpose of legitimate communication, is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than $500 or imprisoned for not more than 1 year, or both.
