18 V.I.C. § 57

Members of boards of elections, inspectors of registration and the Supervisor of Elections shall be privileged from arrest while performing their duties as such under this title, except upon warrant of a court of record or a judge thereof, for felony, for wanton breach of the peace, or for a criminal violation of this title.
