As used in this chapter, unless the context requires a different construction, application or meaning:“election official” means any election officer or clerk of election, and any member of a board of elections or employee of a board of elections; and“whoever” means any individual, and, where consistent with collective capacity, a committee, firm, partnership, company, corporation, club, organization, association, or other combination of individuals.
