(a) All residents of the Virgin Islands may be admitted into the Behavioral Health Treatment Facility as a patient, including but not limited to:(a) Persons who have been adjudged by the Superior Court and ordered to be conveyed to the behavioral health treatment facility and who are indigent. The patients shall be known as public patients.(b) Persons who may be certified to be suffering from behavioral health challenges, mental health disorders, or substance use disorder or multiple disorders, according to the provisions of this chapter, and who are maintained at the behavioral health treatment facility.(c) Persons who pay for the treatment of the facility.
