Refusing certificate of title

20 V.I.C. § 213 — under Certificates of Title.

20 V.I.C. § 213

(a) The Bureau of Motor Vehicles shall refuse issuance of a certificate of title if any required fee is not paid or if it has reasonable grounds to believe that:(a) The applicant is not the owner of the vehicle;(b) The application contains a false or fraudulent statement; or(c) The applicant fails to furnish required information or documents or any additional information the Bureau of Motor Vehicles reasonably requires.(d) The application is for a vehicle that has been issued a certificate of destruction.
