23 V.I.C. § 556

(a) The right of way of the streets, alleys and other public places shall be given to the trucks, fire engines and vehicles of the fire and emergency medical services in all cases when in line of duty.

(b) Whoever fails to yield the right of way as provided in subsection (a) shall be fined not more than $200 or imprisoned not more than 1 year, or both.
