Inspection by enforcement officers

27 V.I.C. § 373 — under Scrap Metal Dealers & Scrap Metal Recyclers.

27 V.I.C. § 373

(1) During the usual and customary business hours of a scrap metals dealer or recycler, a law enforcement officer, including Environmental Enforcement Officers of the Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority, shall, after properly identifying herself or himself as a law enforcement officer or environmental officer shall have the right to inspect:(1) The site of the dealership or recycling operator to ensure that it is environmentally appropriate and that the business may be permitted pursuant to 29 V.I.C., Chapter 8;(2) Any and all purchased regulated metals property in the possession of the scrap metals dealer or recycler; and(3) Any and all records required to be maintained under section 372 of this Chapter.

(2) Any and all purchased regulated metals property in the possession of the scrap metals dealer or recycler; and

(3) Any and all records required to be maintained under section 372 of this Chapter.
