Exclusive jurisdiction

4 V.I.C. § 75

(1) The Superior Court shall have original, exclusive jurisdiction—(1) of all civil actions wherein the matter in controversy does not exceed the sum or value of $500, exclusive of interest and costs;(2) of all criminal cases wherein the maximum punishment that may be imposed does not exceed a fine of $100 or imprisonment of six (6) months, or both:(3) of all violations of police and executive regulations, unless otherwise provided by law; and(4) where otherwise provided by law.
