5 V.I.C. § 2571

(a) The Department shall implement a public information program to promote safe placement alternatives for newborn infants. The public information program may include the following elements:(1) Educational and informational materials in print, audio, video, electronic or other media.(2) Establishment of a dedicated page on the Department’s web site.(3) Public service announcements and advertisements.(4) Establishment of a toll-fee, 24-hour hotline.

(b) The Department shall make information about the Territory’s Safe Haven laws, Safe Haven Provider locations, and support and resources available for parents and available to the public. The Department shall make information about Safe Haven relinquishment available on its website.
