(1) This chapter does not apply to the following:(1) Any nonprofit cooperative association that loans or advances money in connection with any activity mentioned in paragraph (2).(2) Any corporation, association, syndicate, joint stock company, or partnership engaged exclusively in the business of marketing agricultural, horticultural, viticultural, dairy, livestock, poultry, or bee products on a cooperative nonprofit basis that loans or advances money to its members or in connection with those businesses.(3) Any corporation securing money or credit from any federal intermediate credit bank organized and existing pursuant to the provisions of an act of Congress entitled “Agricultural Credits Act of 1923” which loans or advances money or credit so secured.
