  Suzano S.A.'s Cerrado pulp mill (Ribas do Rio Pardo, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil) — which started commercial production in July 2024 at 2.55 million tonnes per year capacity — is the world's largest single eucalyptus pulp production line, built at a cost of approximately BRL 22.2 billion (~$4.3B). The Cerrado mill alone produces more BEKP than the entire output of Portugal or Chile. In June 2025, Suzano announced the acquisition of 51% of Kimberly-Clark's international tissue business (K-C's operations outside North America) for $3.4B — a transaction that immediately made Suzano one of the world's top five tissue manufacturers alongside its position as the world's largest eucalyptus pulp producer. The world's largest single pulp mill in Cerrado (2.55 MMT/year) feeds tissue paper, pharmaceutical packaging, and printing paper simultaneously. After acquiring 51% of KC International's tissue operations in 2025, Suzano is uniquely positioned as the world's largest pulp producer that also owns major global tissue brands — from eucalyptus plantation to consumer nose-blowing, all within one Brazilian holding company.
