A-Gas – US Operations (Recycled FM-200R)
A-Gas US operations for recovery and reclamation of fluorinated gases including HFC-227ea. Partnered with Chemours (summer 2023) to market recycled FM-200R — UL-listed, FM-approved recycled HFC-227ea for OEM fire suppression market. A-Gas collects used gas from decommissioned fire suppression systems, purifies it to specification, and resells as FM-200R. As virgin FM-200 prices spiked 500%+, recycled supply from A-Gas became economically competitive. This circular supply pathway became strategically important once the AIM Act cut US HFC production 40% from 2022 levels.
