Facility
AgReliant Genetics Corn R&D (Warrensburg MO / Ames IA)
AgReliant Genetics (Warrensburg MO; 50% JV between Limagrain and KWS since 2000) operates corn breeding and seed production R&D facilities in Missouri and Iowa for the US market. AgReliant is the largest non-Big-4 corn seed company in the United States — selling under Limagrain Cereal Seeds, Wensman, Agrigold, and LG Seeds brands. AgReliant's breeding program develops proprietary inbred lines for the US Corn Belt through conventional plant breeding (no biotech traits are in-house; AgReliant licenses Bayer/Monsanto traits like all other non-Big-4 companies). AgReliant represents ~5-7% of the US corn seed market. The Warrensburg MO facility is the operational headquarters; Ames IA houses the breeding programs.
