Primary Arlanxeo SSBR production facility at Marl Chemical Park (former Bayer rubber complex). ~22% of global SSBR from Arlanxeo; Marl is the primary European SSBR production site. Arlanxeo was formed as Bayer + Saudi Aramco JV (2016); Saudi Aramco acquired 100% from Lanxess (formerly Bayer) in 2022. Now state-owned Saudi enterprise controls world's 2nd-largest SSBR business.
