Aviagen Global Centre for Genomics (Livingston, Scotland)
Opened September 2022; capable of processing 'several million DNA samples yearly' for all Aviagen chicken and turkey lines. Aviagen was the first poultry company to use genomics in routine selection (chickens 2012, turkeys 2017). This facility centralizes all genomic selection computing for the global Aviagen+Hubbard+Aviagen Turkeys portfolio in a single Scottish lab.
