Baosteel Baoshan Tinplate Lines
2 dedicated tin-plating lines at the Baoshan complex; design capacity 400,000 MT/year ETP. Baowu also controls WISCO in Wuhan (former JV with Nippon Steel; 800,000 MT/year tinplate capacity). Baowu acquired CPMC Holdings (China's largest metal packaging firm) in February 2024 — vertical integration from tinplate substrate to finished cans.
