Cameron LNG terminal in Hackberry, Cameron Parish, Louisiana; 3 liquefaction trains, ~12 mtpa. Ownership: Sempra LNG (50.2%), TotalEnergies (16.6%), Mitsui (16.6%), Japan LNG Investment (16.6%). All three trains operational as of 2020. TotalEnergies' 16.6% stake makes Cameron a key part of TotalEnergies' US LNG portfolio alongside Qatar, Mozambique (suspended), and Australia. Cameron LNG is ~8 km from the Texas border, in Sabine Pass vicinity, and is interconnected with the Sabine Pass terminal cluster — concentration of US LNG export capacity in a single coastal area.
