Chemours Villers-Saint-Paul Nafion Expansion (France)
$200 million expansion announced January 2023; 40-hectare site targeting >300 MW of PEM electrolyzer capacity annually for green hydrogen. The France expansion is framed entirely around green hydrogen demand, not chlor-alkali — this means growing hydrogen deployment competes with chlor-alkali for Chemours' expanded membrane output. Under construction; not yet at full capacity.
