Chevron Richmond refinery (San Francisco Bay Area) produces Group II and Group III base oils using Chevron's proprietary ISODEWAXING hydrocracking technology. Richmond also produces transportation fuels. This refinery was site of a major 2012 fire that injured ~15 employees and sent 15,000 nearby residents to seek medical attention.
