Coveris's Winsford, Cheshire facility — the UK's largest blown PE film extrusion facility. Recent investments: new 9-layer blown extrusion line for technical EVOH barrier films and new cast stretch line. Produces VSP (vacuum skin packaging) films and MonoFlexBP (PE mono-material film for frozen food applications). Winsford is in Cheshire, 25 miles southeast of Liverpool — positioned in the UK food manufacturing heartland. The 9-layer blown film capability represents the highest technical level of PE film production for frozen and fresh food applications.
