Evonik MetAMINO Antwerp (Belgium) Facility
Evonik's European DL-methionine production hub (~120,000 MT/year). Fed by MMP (methylmercaptopropanal) intermediate from Evonik Wesseling, Germany. Evonik's Wesseling site closed its DL-methionine production line in Q1 2021 but continues as an intermediates-only site with a €25M-upgraded MMP plant (announced January 2023) supplying the Antwerp finishing plant.
