Hemisphere GNSS headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona; acquired by CNH Industrial for $175M in 2023. Previously owned by Unistrong (Chinese geospatial company) — Chinese ownership of a critical agricultural GNSS technology before CNH repatriated it. Core technology: proprietary GNSS ASICs, circuit boards, RF processing, navigation algorithms, L-band correction service design. Now captive to CNH's AFS (Advanced Farming Systems) guidance platform for Case IH and New Holland machines. Hemisphere also maintains offices in Calgary (AB) and other locations. No longer an independent open-market GNSS supplier.
