Hengtong – Suzhou Preform Complex (Jiangsu, China)
Two co-located preform production operations in Suzhou, Jiangsu: (1) Jiangsu OFS Hengtong Optical Technology Co., Ltd. (JV with OFS/Furukawa, est. 2010) — uses OFS VAD preform technology to produce preforms in China; (2) Hengtong Photoconductive New Materials wholly-owned plant (est. 2016, RMB 500M investment, planned 1,500 t/year preform capacity) — Hengtong's own independent preform production. Together represent Hengtong's claimed preform self-sufficiency since ~2017. Suzhou is the center of Hengtong's manufacturing ecosystem.
