HIKMICRO's independent sensor fabrication facility in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. Processes silicon wafers into VOx FPA image sensors using MEMS and wafer-level packaging (WLP) technologies. Not just camera assembly — HIKMICRO has invested in the upstream semiconductor fabrication step. Products achieve NETD < 40mK. Parent Hikvision is on US Entity List since 2019, creating US component export restrictions to HIKMICRO. Chinese companies including HIKMICRO held 38% of global thermal imager shipments by end of 2022.
