HIPRA Main Manufacturing Campus (Amer, Girona, Catalonia)

HIPRA's primary manufacturing and R&D campus in Amer, Girona province, Catalonia Spain — the sole production site for HIPRA's full animal health and human vaccine portfolio. Produces GnRH analog reproductive hormones (Fertiline/gonadorelin) for dairy cattle reproductive synchronization programs, bovine respiratory vaccines, and — notably — the PHH-1V COVID-19 human vaccine approved by the EMA in 2022. The same Catalan pharmaceutical campus that produces gonadorelin for European dairy cows simultaneously manufactures human COVID-19 vaccine for European health authorities — one of the clearest single-facility illustrations of the dual-use nature of veterinary reproductive hormones.
